Hello Minecraft developers,
I would like to suggest making Java and Bedrock PvP mechanics more similar while still keeping each version unique. Right now, the differences in combat, hit registration, knockback, and movement make crossplay and competitive gameplay feel inconsistent between the two editions.
It would be great if both versions could share more balanced PvP mechanics so players can have a more similar experience regardless of platform. Small adjustments to combat timing, knockback consistency, and hit detection could improve fairness without completely removing the identity of either edition.
I understand that Java and Bedrock are built differently and support different devices, so full parity may not be possible. However, making the PvP systems closer would help the community, especially for multiplayer servers and cross-platform players.
Thank you for continuing to improve Minecraft.
