It's been 6 years yep you heard me right 6 on bedrock it's even worse 8 to 9 years almost a decade since the last ever time we have ever saw a change or an increase to structure block size limit and at this point I think there will never will be a change I don't think they'll see this but if they do please make a big change to that limit here's the background Java Edition Minecraft 1.10 (2016) Structure blocks released with a limit of 32×32×32. That limit lasted about 4 years. Minecraft 1.16 snapshot 20w16a (2020) Mojang increased the limit to 48×48×48. The 48 limit has now existed for about 6 years. As for Bedrock Edition Minecraft Bedrock 1.2 (2017) Structure blocks were officially obtainable. Horizontal limit became 64×64 Vertical support later expanded with world height changes to 64×384×64. The “64” horizontal limit has existed for roughly 8–9 years now. And it's so bad that we have to either go in to some code and change the limit and then maybe break the game or install mods litematica makes the limit 10M blocks instead of the measly 64 or even 32K on world edit but uhh there's an issue with that 1 it's no where near the Minecraft world boarder limit the boarder is like 3 times or 6 times larger than litematica and that makes a problem that id guarantee you EVERY player faces do you want to make a huuuge map at once and not waste months of your life doing tiny chunks at a time? It is seriously exhausting and just plain annoying. We are building massive cities and more.
