Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Coral blocks should be able to be kept alive outside of water

Coral blocks have many building uses

Each coral block has a unique texture and color. Keeping them alive outside of water would open up new building possibilities. We could also get an option to keep coral items and coral fans alive, so that we could create for example better carpets without them having to touch water!

You could "hydrate" a coral block with a water bucket/bottle

You could hydrate coral blocks so that they wouldn't die outside of water. Hydrating could work, when you hold a water bottle or bucket and right click them, like waxing a sign or copper. Hydrated coral wouldn't dry out. You could dry coral when you hold a sponge and right click, like scraping wax off of copper.
