The changes to the rabbit model are terrible. The new rabbit loses its distinctive character, regardless of its square shape. It takes away the wildness. Remember, rabbits in Minecraft cannot be domesticated; they are used for meat and skin, clearly based on the uses of wild rabbits in real life. The design is also similar to wild rabbits. Changing the rabbit variants has reduced the rabbit's importance in the game. What's the point of such changes? We don't lack cute pets; the changes cause the rare wild species in the game to gradually disappear. I ask honestly, what would it be like if you encountered a domestic rabbit in the forest? It would lose the natural feel of the forest, and encountering a rabbit in the forest would no longer be interesting. Especially in the desert, nobody cares about domestic rabbits; it doesn't fit the game at all. Killing them is important in the desert, but changing that makes them lose their wildness. Suppose you're a nature lover; adding this takes away the rare wildness of the desert and taiga. In an ecosystem with foxes, bears, and rabbits, what would happen if the rabbits became domestic rabbits? That's also the most natural aspect of rabbits. Rabbits have always been considered food, so they're part of the natural hunting culture. Chasing rabbits is common in rural Europe; don't let this aspect disappear.
We don't lack cute creatures, do we? If not, let them coexist. Wild rabbits remain untamable, their eggs are hares, while domestic rabbits may or may not be tame; they only live near villages. Wild rabbits should have shaggy fur, longer ears, faster running speed, and their noses should be removed from pink. Eliminate the black and white and black variations and replace them with other wild variations.
