I suggest adding “Aldean Cities”, a rare, expanded version of regular villages that generates naturally in the world. These cities would feel more alive, structured, and advanced, offering new exploration opportunities while staying true to Minecraft’s core mechanics
Main Features
- 3x larger than normal villages
- Organized layout with roads, districts, and a central plaza
- Much rarer than normal villages, encouraging exploration
Defense System
Protected by multiple Iron Golems (around 3)
Surrounded by walls or natural barriers depending on biome
Includes main gates and watchtowers
Higher chance of triggering larger raids, making them risk/reward locations
New Structures
Central Plaza (meeting area for villagers)
Marketplace with grouped trading stalls
Watchtowers for defense
Larger and more detailed houses
Storage buildings or warehouses
New Workstations
To expand villager mechanics without breaking balance:
Engineer Table
Improves tool durability slightly or allows minor upgrades
Alchemy Table
Speeds up potion brewing or enables small variations
Trading Table
Improves trade efficiency or unlocks rare trades over time
All new stations should be balanced and not overpowered, focusing on utility rather than raw strength
- Stronger raids increase difficulty
- Better rewards, but require preparation
- Designed to enhance exploration, not replace progression
Purpose
Aldean Cities would:
- Make the world feel more alive and immersive
(Note: Make it vanilla)
