Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Oxidisation for iron blocks/items.

Iron should oxidise over time exactly how copper does, perhaps accelerated by rain. It doesn't make a lot of sense that all the copper items and blocks oxidise but the iron stuff doesn't. This should also apply to the iron golem, with the final step causing it to become a statue just like the copper golem. Please bring these two conflicting design choices into parity with one another!

    Meant to add: the creativity that this would open up for all sorts of builds would be amazing. I appreciate that there are ways to do full block gradients/colour palettes that give the impression of rusting iron, but particularly having things like the bars and chains appear in a rusted state would be amazing. A whole extra blockset for the iron blocks would be great, but I think there is a fair amount amongst stairs/slabs/walls etc that can work as a stand in, and would look even more convincing when used alongside rusted chains and bars.
