Project Odyssey: The Frozen Volcano & Cosmic Heights Expansion
1. World & Exploration:
The world height is increased to 2,000 blocks. Above 1,500m, gravity decreases, oxygen thins, and the sky turns pitch black with visible stars. Players must use a Plastic Mask to survive. In the heart of the Frozen Volcano, a massive pit leads to the Frozen Core. Reaching the bottom takes one hour of real-time descent. Without Volcanic Armor or Warden’s Breath, players freeze instantly.
2. Industry & Crafting:
Extract Crude Oil from deep caves and process it in a Mini-Refinery to create Plastic.
Miner’s Helmet: Plastic + Torch for hands-free lighting.
Plastic Mask: Essential for high altitudes and toxic volcanic zones.
3. Movement & Combat:
Prone Mode: Double-tap sneak to crawl through 1-block gaps.
Netherite Elytra: Armored wings resistant to lava and freezing.
Grappling Hook: Crafted with Bigfoot Hair. Used as a boat anchor and for high-speed climbing.
The Freezer & Burner: The Freezer (14 dmg) is found in the Ice Labyrinth via the Ice Cipher Map. It shatters enemies in 4 hits. The Burner is its fire-elemental counterpart.
Celestial Spear: Found on 2,000m peaks via archaeology; it returns to the player like a boomerang.
Yoyo TNT: Bouncing explosives attached to Bigfoot Hair.
4. Dimensions & Bosses:
Bosses like the Warden and Ender Dragon are immune to freezing. The Silence Dimension (via Warden Portal) contains the Silence Stone, used to enter the Volcanic Dimension
