Powder Snow Mountain Biome
I suggest adding a new biome called Powder Snow Mountains – a unique snow-covered mountain region offering an extremely harsh survival challenge.
2. Main characteristics of the biome:
The entire surface is powder snow, making it easy for players to sink without leather boots.
Rare occurrence rate: only about 5–6% in the world.
Super rare variant: has groundwater beneath the snow (0.2%).
Heatwave event: extremely rare (2.5%), lasts 2–3 minutes, causing the snow to melt partially or completely, revealing a giant lake (0.25%).
3. Special mechanics:
Upon entering the biome, the snow looks normal for 1–2 minutes, but then automatically transforms into powder snow.
Players can scoop up the reacting snow to create powder snow.
Drinking this water causes a Cold effect (15 minutes): slow movement, trembling, missed attacks, slow blood loss.
Cure: Create fire by rubbing a wooden stick against a tree, stand near the fire to recover.
4. Interaction with Leather Armor:
Leather armor takes 50% cold damage but will freeze.
If removed incorrectly, the armor will break immediately (0% durability).
Standing too close to the fire → armor burns, the player also burns.
Standing just close enough → ice melts, armor is safe.
5. Gameplay Benefits:
Increases survival depth, forcing players to prepare thoroughly before exploring.
Creates a sense of suspense when hunting for rare biomes and the Heatwave event.
Provides a fresh "hardcore survival" experience for the community.
