Minecraft Mesa Biome Revamp/Update

Now this is my first feedback post but I just wanted to touch on topic that I feel that Minecraft has kinda pushed over or ignored in a way. That would be the Mesa Biome update or revamp, since the biome is supposed to in a way emulate the Wild West, why not add structures or more items to elevate that experience in the game. Not only would it make people actually go there other than for terracotta but it’d be nice. I think the addition of Mesa villages would be a neat thing to add, as well as maybe a sort of gold mine there idk, but just a good revamp of that place. I feel as if focusing on doing those type of biome updates really expand and elevate Minecraft.
