Village Bells & Iron Golem Pairing

We could do with another way to link iron golems we create to a village. The fact that they spawn with the game itself to the villages and bells naturally, we could really do with the same dynamic but if we create them ourselves. If we place the iron blocks with the carved pumpkin as applied in a certain block distance (like 25 blocks), they should connect to the nearest bell like how villagers link to a work station. This has been an unresolved issue for years specifically on bedrock edition. The iron golems wonder off away from the village and a majority of us don't want to build a whole wall around the village, put them on leads, etc. This is a request for a patch up into the game that'd be handy. Not all the time are we defending the closest village.
