The end update should take inspiration from the nether update but look very different. The end should be more dangerous, more rewarding, and most importantly... empty.
I don't think the end should be lush or full of forests and there should be very little plant life. The end should look like a barren wasteland. It should look abandoned and make you wonder what it looked like when it once was full of life. There should be new biomes in the end that reflect this idea. the goal is that the end makes you almost sad because you can see that it was once a beautiful place that's been reduced to what it is.
there should be new mobs in the end but very few (maybe a flying one). probably just creatures that exist to feed off of the scraps of life left in the dimension. maybe mold has taken over areas of the end or some other corruption (maybe skulk?). there could be building ruins from a time long forgotten. there'd be new stone-like blocksets and new valuable ores (maybe used for new armor and tools). there should be new game changing loot in the end also. there could be new environmental hazards like end storms or gravel-like blocks that fall upward. There would be parts of the end that look strangely like the overworld but... warped.
