Currently the Warden is very easy to cheese and I believe a fix for this would be a new block, corrupted skull. This could be created by a ground pound effect that sends players flying and "currupting" the blocks around. This would fix the issue of players pillaring up due to them being launched, and it would damage players similar to the Ender Dragons fire Breath. This has to potential to create no block destruction if the corruption acted similar to frost walker ice, reverting the surrounding blocks back to their normal state after so time or after the Warden is gone. This in tandem with the "Warden earthquake" suggestion could be exactly what is needed to add an extra level of difficulty to the Warden fight.
