Drop 40% of your levels on death

In minecraft, let's say you have 100 levels and you die. You only get 7 levels back, so what I think should happen is when you die 30-40% of your levels. Only 7 levels all the time can make you mad, so this would be great to add.

    I understand your idea but It's possible that devs have a reason to give just 7 levels.
