Sulfur cubes mechanical properties and physics are still very anchored in those of traditional entities in my opinion. Even though it would be a change with how the game physics usually work, it would be interesting if it had consistent rigid body physics:
- A consistent and solid cubic collision box such that they could could (under normal circumstances) not pass through entities nor being passed through, in the same fashion as solid blocks or boats, resulting in entities being able to walk on them, to have them stopped still on top of entities, or to have them being able to block a path.
- A momentum and "kinetic energy" property, allowing them to knock back other entities upon flying into them. The outcome of the collision with entities would depend on their bounciness of the sulfur cube, the speed of the entity and of the cube, the "weight" or inertial mass of the entity and of the block the sulfur cube has absorbed, of effects such as knockback resistance, and so on...
- an entity standing still on a moving sulfur cube should be still in the frame of the reference of the sulfur cube, in the same way as an entity standing on a boat or on a block moved by a piston under normal conditions. It means that the speed of an entity standing still on the top of a sulfur cube is exactly the same as that of the sulfur cube, until it is subjected to an external force.
