Hello,
I’ve been thinking about how updates in Minecraft often focus on adding new blocks, mobs, and mechanics—which is great—but I think there’s a lot of untapped potential in the blocks and features already in the game.
What if villages were more diverse and themed around different environments, resources, and building materials?
For example:
- A mountain village built with bricks or stone, where villagers work as miners and trade coal, ores, or mining-related items
- Different villages tied to specific resources, where professions and trades match the local environment
- Jungle villages with a more “native” style, where villagers trade items like cocoa beans, melons, or other jungle resources
- Rare structures like small prisons or guarded buildings made of stone bricks and iron bars, where special villagers offer unique or rare trades
This would make exploration more exciting and give more purpose to existing blocks and biomes, while making villages feel more alive and varied.
