Currently, sand looks exactly the same everywhere. Whether you are in a vast Desert, a tropical Island, or a regular Beach, the sand is always a pale, washed-out beige. This makes Deserts feel like "giant beaches" rather than harsh, hot, and majestic biomes.
The Solution: Implement Biome-Based Sand Tinting, similar to how grass and leaves change color depending on the biome. We don't need new blocks; we just need the existing sand to shift its hue:
Deserts: Should have a Golden-Brown or Warm Orange tint to reflect heat and dunes.
Tropical Islands: Should have a Bright White tint.
Beaches: Keep the current Neutral Beige color.
Why it’s great for the game:
Immersive Environments: It gives every biome a unique visual identity.
Consistency: It follows the logic already used for grass and water. Builder Friendly: It adds huge aesthetic value to builds without cluttering the inventory with new blocks.
Let’s make the Desert feel like a Desert!
