Sulfur Ore: The Diamond Rival
If Sulfur Ore matched Diamond tier, it would likely have unique properties rather than just being a "yellow diamond":
Explosive Durability: Tools might have a "Blast" attribute, mining blocks in a small radius but losing durability faster.
Heat Resistance: Sulfur armor could provide permanent Fire Resistance, making it the ultimate gear for the Nether.
Chemical Reaction: Combining Sulfur with Water might create a small "steam" cloud that pushes mobs back.
Volatile Mining: Unlike Diamond, Sulfur Ore might be unstable. Mining it with the wrong pickaxe (or too quickly) could cause a small explosion.
👾 New Sulfur Biome Mobs
A biome that rich in resources needs dangerous, unique inhabitants to guard it:
The Gas Weever: A translucent, flying mob that leaves a trail of yellow fog. If you stand in the fog, you get the "Nausea" or "Corrosion" effect, which slowly eats away at armor durability.
Sulfur Slimes: Sticky, bright yellow variants of slimes. When they jump, they leave a puddle of "Acidic Sludge" on the ground that slows and damages players.
The Cinnabar Golem: A neutral mob made of red Cinnabar blocks. It only attacks if you mine Sulfur Ore near it. It has high knockback and is immune to fire.
Blind Cave Crawlers: Small, insect-like mobs that move silently on the ceiling. They drop down on players who stay still for too long, encouraging constant movement through the caves.
