Brewing is outdated; this rework adds depth and tiered progression.
1. Cauldron (Early-Game):
Used as a "Maceration Station" before finding Blazes. Boil mob loot (Rotten Flesh, Spider Eyes) for Crude Potions. These give buffs but carry penalties (Nausea/Hunger). Incorrect recipes destroy ingredients; unused mixtures decay.
2. Brewing Stand (Mid-Game):
Refines Crude Potions using Nether Warts. Post-Dragon, use Dragon’s Breath to create Hybrid Potions (fusing 2 effects). These cannot be Level II or Extended. Feature dual-color liquid for clarity.
3. Lingering & Splash Balance:
Echo Shards increase cloud duration; Ghast Tears increase radius only on lingering. Splash Potions now have a cooldown (like Ender Pearls) to prevent spamming.
4. Workstations & Logistics:
Fletching Table: Craft Gold-Tipped (Armor Pen) or Iron-Tipped (High Knockback) arrows using Nuggets. These slow Bow draw time by 30%, but Crossbows ignore this penalty.
Infusion Station: Apply potions to munitions. 1 potion = 16 Hybrid/Tipped arrows.
QoL: Potions/Milk bottles now stack to 16.
5. Discovery:
Ancient Recipe Tombs in Strongholds unlock rare brews. Allows Item Icons in Book & Quills for visual Alchemy Manuals.
Goal: Turn Alchemy into a lore-rich craft rewarding exploration and strategy.
