Plates, Placeable Food Items, & Meals

You can craft a plate with 3 clay. You arrange them like this

doing this will create the raw plate item, which has to be smelted to turn into a clay plate. With plates, you can place food on top of it. Much like cakes, each food item can have a piece eaten by clicking on it. Food can only be placed on clay plates and not raw plates. So, basically foods placed on plates behave like a cake, only that the food will restore as many hunger bars as it usually does when eaten by hand. Example one piece of cooked chicken on a plate restores 6 hunger points.

Meals are combinations of food that can be made with a cutting board. Cutting boards can be made with slabs of wood (any type) arranged like this in a crafting table

Cutting boards are basically crafting tables but for food. With cutting boards, you can make meals which restore large amount of hunger points and can even restore your entire hunger bar. To make meals, you have to arrange food in certain ways. Ex: a chicken sandwich can be made by placing cooked chicken in between 2 bread. Making anything on the cutting board that has monster parts will result in strange foods. Each strange food has an effect. Examples would be making something with rotten flesh causes hunger and making something with spider eyes causes poison. Cutting boards can also be used to cut meat/vegetables into bits, which restore 2-3 points of hunger and are basically just small food bites.
