With the sulfur cave biomes being added in the future, Minecraft has a great opportunity to introduce a new mineral that enhances both visual variety and gameplay. I suggest adding Realgar, a real-world mineral typically found in sulfur-rich environments.
Although realgar is naturally more red-orange, it could be reinterpreted in Minecraft with a distinct pink tone, filling a current gap since there are no naturally generating pink minerals in the game.
Uses:
- Generates in small, rare clusters, similar to emerald or diamond
- Can be crafted into a decorative block with a soft glow or unique texture
- Minecraft already includes real-world inspired minerals (iron, gold, copper, diamond)
- Adds visual contrast to new underground exploration
- Introduces a unique color not currently represented in natural ore generation
This addition would feel natural to Minecraft’s style while expanding both aesthetics and gameplay possibilities in future cave updates.
