This suggestion adds grapes as a new crop with a unique farming system and a time-based aging mechanic.
Grapes can be planted on fences, walls, and iron bars instead of farmland. They grow along connected supports (both horizontally and vertically), allowing players to create vineyards and decorative vines. Growth is limited to a short range (about 6–8 blocks from where planted).
Grapes always grow visually, but only produce harvestable fruit if they have access to sky light and a nearby water source. Without these, they remain decorative only, allowing indoor use without farming.
Grapes can be placed in a keg (a barrel with a copper tap) to age over time. The aging process has visible stages and results in four tiers: Fresh, Aged, Fine, and Ancient (Ancient can only be found as rare loot).
Aged grape products provide mild temporary buffs such as small strength or resistance, and temporary immunity to potion effects. However, they are weaker than brewing potions and overuse causes nausea and negative effects.
This feature adds a new farming style, encourages creative building, and introduces a balanced progression system without replacing existing mechanics.
