craft gunpowder

With a quick search, you can see that you can make gunpowder from sulfur, a great opportunity to add gunpowder crafting to Minecraft.

    Or should it be less powerfull than average gun powder ? If not they should think or making fire cracker crossbow

    It would be a very easy recipe too. 1 sulphur spike, 1 piece of charcoal, and maybe a piece of bonemeal too. I don't think it'd be too unbalanced either since sulphur caves are very much a mid-game area.

    This would allow players in Peaceful mode to access gunpowder and reduce dependence on farming creepers for drops. Please consider this for your next snapshot Mojang
