I run a storyteller server with some friends and have used Minecraft as a great storytelling simulated environment for acting out events and characters, and we've all made use of playing with different skins over the course of a session. Previous to the Tiny Takeover update, changing your skin was as easy as changing it in the launcher, waiting a few seconds, leaving the server/singleplayer world, and then rejoining. The game would read your currently set skin and display it upon rejoin.
This seems to have been changed to only register your skin upon launching the game. Now, regardless of how much delay I try to give the game, the skin never updates and the only way to involve a change in how you display your model is to close the program and wait for it to relaunch. While higher end devices are mildly inconvenienced by this, this can be a strain on lower end devices that may not be able to run the game as optimally.
Please revert this change. It affects nothing gameplay wise to have changed it in the first place, so reverting it should not cause an issue.
