There are many Native American cultures that claim home in Arizona, including the Salado and Zuni. I name these two peoples specifically because they were known for being sedentary pueblo societies with rich community and spiritual life. I think this could serve as a good opportunity to shine light and appreciate Sonoran history by introducing adobe pueblo structures that generate carved into or along mountain sides in the existing badlands biome, as well as my other proposed blue mesa badlands and desert shrublands biomes, and along riverbanks in these biomes as well. These could serve as a new structure/culture in Minecraft or as an expansion of the trail ruins culture. Within these structures a player can find loot similar to the trail ruins with new pottery sherds and trims inspired by these and other Sonoran cultures. Turquoise could be introduced as a new resource found within these ruins or generated as ore with the badlands and related biomes. The Zuni have a rich history with turquoise: mining it, using it as currency, crafting intricate jewelry, and applying spiritual importance. This can potentially set up turquoise as tiled mosaic themed decorative block, a trim material, a jewelry based armor set, a substitute trade currency, or a magical resource with connections to life, the sky, earth, and rain.
