Gamemode for persistent inventory

Create a game mode where you can share your inventory between worlds. Maybe disable creative mode for this world type. I could get satisfaction from creating a powerful geared character that won't just get deleted when a new version comes out. I enjoy games like terraria and borderlands where you get to keep all of the loot you find in your adventures. Perhaps there could even be an in game item that lets you travel between your saved worlds.
