In the summer drop, or version 26.2, we are planning to introduce new blocks, namely sulfur and cinnabar, and I would like to suggest some ideas that could complement sulfur and cinnabar in the game.
Sulfur:
Sulfur caves seem a bit small, and as if they are an addition to regular caves, but I would like to see the role of sulfur caves expanded to a size similar to the overgrown cave biomes, and also for sulfur caves to be able to take the form of such sinkholes or craters that would look out onto the surface of the world.
I would also like to see the addition of glowing sulfur crystals, which would greatly brighten up the appearance of the biome and be a wonderful source of lighting, instead of glowing lichen.
Saltpeter
You could also add saltpeter, which could be an excellent material and would have applications in creating dynamite and fertilizers, which could be an alternative to bone meal and creeper gunpowder.
Also here are some crafts that could be added:
crafting gunpowder: Gunpowder could be crafted from sulfur powder, saltpeter, and charcoal.
