Many people have been saying wood in general, I know, but general wood would look weird or like other wood blocks. I propose a solution to this issue
WHY pale oak PRODUCTS specifically?: All of the pale oak products are a perfect color for dying (the wood before making it into a wood product is a grey and less desirable)
Implementation: Would keep texture of product Would simply add a sligtly transparent color above it (for color mixing). I suggest that this could be implemented like banners, where it remembers the original, then renders changes made to the original block Also simmilar to banners, there should be a way to copy the patern onto a group of other blocks (since we are limited to a stack of items as output, i recomend that when combined with a peice of paper, it will infuse that paper with the pattern [the output], leaving the block behind [like the buckets with cake]. This paper can then be used on other blocks, which would add that pattern to that block
REMOVAL OF COLOR:
If we had bleach like in education, i would suggest that. However, we are talking about normal minecraft, so an entirley new item would have to be added. (Im not sure what that would look like
