Gravity core or something of that sort

It seems something akin to what I'm thinking of has already been suggested, but, a multi-block structure (like the ocean heart structure) or a block (like the old nethercore) would be awesome for more gravity functionality. Foremost, such a thing could help bend gravity around an object which would be really cool for extra complex builds and such. Secondly, mojang has expressed an interest in keeping the game fantasy related so instead of a "space update" (which would require a fundamental rewrite of the game anyways) add something that can shift the pull of gravity around a build or within it. It could just be something that makes the build spin, giving it centrifugal force, or a magic orb that you have to put within a specific multi-block structure to activate a gravitational field that pulls on everything, even the air and warmth thereof. Imagine having a cubic planet with a village on it that wraps around to all 6 sides or even a labyrinth that tackles all 4 dimensions?? The possibilities are (mostly) endless.
