Iron armor and tools deteriorates faster from water

Iron rusts, unlike gold, for example. I suggest that iron will degrade slightly faster when in contact with water (especially in sea and ocean biomes). Leather armor - also deteriorates a little from water.

    Realistically, for the iron, it would form a patina of rust, similar to the Copper blocks. It would need to be submerged to really rust away quickly. For the leather, we could be required to oil it to prevent natural cracking, which could be required more in the biomes you mentioned. Good ideas.
