A colorful forest filled with maple trees of varying colors. The leaves on these trees would act similarly to Copper's oxidizing feature, starting off green but slowly becoming red, with yellow and orange states in between (insert a way to keep leaves a specific color). The floor of the forest would be bright, soft green grass, with brightly tinted orange leaf litter and podzol patches scattered throughout the biome. The cyan rose could spawn in this biome, contrasting with the warm colors of the Maple Forest. In the trunks of Maple trees, a block similar to the Creaking Heart could spawn for the collection of Maple Syrup. If right-clicked with a bottle, it will give a Bottle of Maple Syrup. The collection of syrup could be automated by placing the horizontal Creaking Heart-type log horizontally with a Cauldron underneath it, similar to Dripstone. Syrup could be crafted to make a new placeable food, the Pancake. Syrup could also be used to brew a Potion of Stickiness, which would allow the player to stick to walls and ceilings at a reduced speed. Foxes and Rabbits would spawn in this biome, along with a brand new mob, the Woodpecker. The Woodpecker would be tamed with syrup and would act as an automatic way to strip wood. Other miscellaneous features could be shelf mushrooms and hollow logs, which would spawn in other biomes. Minecraft forests lack color, and the Maple Forest could add that spark of color that Minecraft generation needs.
