Minecraft (Bedrock) uses a "360° direction movement" which means that the player can move in any direction. This is not a problem when playing on a touchscreen or with a keyboard and mouse. However with controllers it's very odd, especially when flying and building in creative mode. Building with regular blocks are hard as the player begins to change direction and you have to constantly adjust it's position, but with items like stairs, glass panes, and fences it can be even more challenging. Another problem is that when you move while flying or when navigating the menus, the movement feels more "exponential" rather than linear. There is a gradual increase and decrease in your movement speed which is unintuitive and hard to play with using a controller. Another QOL feature I would like to see is improved flying in Creative Mode. Currently, your altitude does not change based on looking up and down. Instead you have to manually press Fly and Shift to change your altitude. Another welcome addition would be increased flying speed. The solution to these problems is very easy to implement as they exist in the discontinued Minecraft: Console Edition (By 4J Studios). Implementing these features shouldn't be difficult and would be a huge quality of life improvement for all Controller players.
Note: This is constructive critisism for Minecraft Bedrock in the hopes that Mojang will implement these features and improve gameplay.
