Bedrock off-hand is very limited compared to Java. Here's a simple system that works naturally across all platforms: PC: Left click = right hand, right click = left hand. Same as Java. Console: Assign L2/LT to left hand. Mobile (automatically adapts to existing control mode): • Split Control OFF → A toggle button appears. Icon shows which hand is active. Small hand animation plays on toggle as feedback. One hand holding something = button stays. Both hands empty = button disappears, full screen controls right hand only. • Split Control ON → Left screen = left hand, right screen = right hand. Cannot use both simultaneously — alternates based on which side is touched first. Both empty = full screen controls right hand. • Joystick & Aim Mode → Right hand already has buttons, so 100% of screen controls left hand naturally. Additional details: • Dynamic Light works when holding a light-emitting item in the left hand • Everything else follows Java Edition behavior This system requires no new settings page, doesn't break existing controls, and feels natural. Players who don't need it won't notice it exists.
