Evened Out World Border

Right now, the World Border is 59,999,966 by 59,999,966 blocks. It is a lot of blocks sure, but why such a close to perfect but random number? I think it should be evened out to 60,000,000 by 60,000,000 blocks. But the proportions of Minecraft probably won't allow that, so 60,000,001 by 60,000,001 blocks. Please, Mojang.
