Enable the use of forging patterns on swords!

Recently, we’ve been able to use smithing patterns to add beautiful designs to armor, haven’t we? I use them all the time. But what if we could use them on swords too? I think it would be great to be able to create swords with all kinds of different patterns. While we’re at it, if we could apply this to elytra, even plain gray elytra would look much nicer. I have another great idea: letting players create their own patterns. Minecraft has looms, right? Just like that, players could choose from a wide variety of patterns to create their own smithing patterns. A blank smithing pattern would serve as the base material. What do you think? Please vote.
