Mud blocks hydrate farmland

When placed next to farmland, adjacent farmland blocks become hydrated (3/4 radius)

    Went to post this idea and came across this, but in my version mud only hydrated farmland if it was placed directly below it (the idea being that the roots of plants would draw up the moisture from the mud below). Maybe this could be used as a way to turn mud back into dirt?
