Currently the sculk block only give one xp per block which is slow as tedious as an xp source, so I suppose if the xp contained in one block could be the same as xp orbs, having multiple levels of size ( 1, 3, 7, 17, 37, 73, 149, 307, 617, 1237, and 2477), this could be more useful and could encourage the player to build better farm to get more condensed xp storage/better rate of gaining levels
When the sculk charge contained more xp than needed to generate an enriched sculk block, it has a chance to consume the corresponding xp to generate an enriched variant, and it can also provide some xp to enrich the current sculk block to a higher level. Of course now the sculk charge can't have more than 1k xp so sculk with 2477 xp is impossible to get.
The enriched sculk doesn't necessarily be different blocks, the xp contained could be implemented as a blockstate of the sculk block, it don't need a block entity to cause more lag and difficulties to automate.
