Platform: Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (Mobile)
Summary:
Add gyroscope (motion sensor) aiming for mobile devices, allowing players to aim or look by tilting their device.
Detailed description:
I propose a gyroscope control option with these settings:
· Enable Gyroscope: On/Off
· Sensitivity: Separate sliders for horizontal and vertical movement
· Aim Mode: Always On / On When Touching Screen / On When Using Bow/Crossbow
· Invert Axis: Separate toggles for X and Y
· Recentering: Button or auto-centering option
Gyro should work in first-person and third-person, and be compatible with touch + gyro or controller + gyro.
Why this is beneficial:
· Precision: Enables fine adjustments for building, bow aiming, and hitting small targets.
· Accessibility: Offers a comfortable alternative for players who struggle with touch controls.
· Fairness: Helps mobile players compete more evenly with PC/console players in cross‑play servers.
· Industry standard: Many popular mobile games (PUBG, COD, Fortnite) already support gyro aiming.
This feature would be optional and not affect existing control methods. Many mobile players have requested it. Thank you for considering!
