These newest family block sets are beautiful but we really need the same love for the existing stone varieties. Different chiseled stone blocks (andesite, diorite, granite, etc) could have mob faces of old mobs.

EXACTLY! Copper gets all the love after its release like Tricky Trials(+Tuff blocks) and Copper Age even in this last drop they added trumpet sounds; I would have preferred cymbals since they might not add brass.

I can see the confusion with andesite brick and old stone brick because those 2 are about the same color. All they have to do is retexture andesite with another brick texture e. g. bricks, quartz brick or mud brick but since its a stone they have to use that texture so really just the define the lines differently like tuff and deepslate brick or even like endstone. Granite works so well with the new cinnabar blocks and maybe new dripstone too.

I actually posted something similar but for the underappreciated 1.17 stones because calcite has nothing and needs to be farmable. Calcite and Dripstone Revival +Limestone! – Minecraft Feedback
