Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Sulfur Ore for peaceful gunpowder and fertilizer

I would love to see a new Sulfur Ore added to the game. It would generate in the new Sulfur Cave biome and drop around 3 sulfur chunks when mined.

Sulfur could be used to craft Gunpowder with the recipe: 1 Sulfur + 2 Charcoal + 6 Sugar.

There could also be a new, more potent fertilizer: Combining 2 Sulfur + 3 Bonemeal would create 5 Sulfurized Bonemeal, a more potent fertilizer that instantly grows a crop to full maturity.

Furthermore, the only way to obtain gunpowder is from a creeper or in the Nether with a ghast; that type of ore would be perfect in those types of caves.
