What if Minecraft Dungeons 2 had new unique mechanics for getting items and currencies?
What if there was a mining system?
-a villager for buying mining plots with different ores
-Each plot would have different ore ratios (ex. 20 squares in each plot Stone:Coal:Iron:Lapis:Gold:Diamonds Tier 1 10:5:3:2:0:0 Tier 2 6:6:4:3:1:0 Tier 3 2:6:5:4:3:0 Tier 4 0:5:5:5:4:1 etc.)
-Pickaxes(or mining tokens?) were found while playing missions(maybe 4-7 depending on difficulty)
-Emeralds used for buying plots with Tier 1 being free and each tier costing more and more
What would resources be used for?
-all could be sold for emeralds(even stone)
-Lapis for enchanting(obviously)
-Coal and Iron for upgrading(or maybe even making gear)
-Gold and Diamonds for buying gear
How would a shop work?
-all items cost emeralds
-one enchantment slot items only cost emeralds
-two enchantment slot items cost gold as well
-three enchantments slot items cost a diamond too
-Emeralds can buy resources/pickaxes/tokens
What does enchanting look like?
-Traditional Minecraft enchanting table menu
- 2 or 3 enchantment options that change after each completed mission
-costs Lapis(maybe 1,2, or 3, 3 being for the best enchantments)
-can still keep XP system(maybe spend lapis to add enchants and XP to upgrade enchants)
Upgrading gear?
-Costs coal and iron(maybe 2:1 coal:iron)
-gold can add random gilded enchants
-iron can remove enchants/gilded
-items found are slightly damaged and need repairs?
