    sulfur crystal+charcoal/coal+potash/saltpeter/niter= gunpowder, there are tonnes of ways to get potash/saltpeter/niter, but I don't think mojang should add a super accurate way in a kids game, especially since you can make all of these ingredients at home in your kitchen
