The Shcreeper is a mob variant of the creeper like how the skeleton has the stray, the zombie and the husk, and so on. The Shcreeper is as simple as it sounds. It spawns in the deep dark and is essentially a mobile Shrieker which, when it explodes, creates a screeching noise and summons the Warden. I imagine it would be colored similar to the greys of deep slate and the blue-greens of sculk like how the creeper originally had a color similar to that of the neon green grass of the original game. The Shcreeper would have the same blast impact as a creeper and therefore, because of where it spawns, have a seemingly lower blast radius due to the blast resistance of deepslate. I think the Shcreeper would perform a similar role to guardians as many parallels could be drawn between the Lost Cities and Ocean Monuments such as the large boss monster guarding a structure (obviously you take down the elder guardian before raiding whereas the warden you don't but both provide the same sort of "barrier" to raiding). The Shcreeper is an important addition and fulfills a role that is currently not occupied in the current Lost Cities. The Shcreeper could have a charged state either by being struck by lightning (could provide an achievement like "How did that happen?" because of where they spawn) or they could become "fired up" when they fall into lava, making their blast radius larger, or increasing the radius of the shriek for wardens to hear or even adding fire do their explosions.
