Sulphur + Charcoal + Bonemeal = Gunpowder

Please give us a gunpowder recipe now that we have all the ingredients in game to make it.

    This would be HUGE for peaceful mode players, skyblock, etc

    Not sure if bonemeal would be the right 3rd crafting ingredient; IRL, black powder is made from Sulphur, Charcoal and Saltpeter (potasium nitrate). Id suggest that instead of bonemeal, they cause bats to slowly generate "guano" in layers similar to snow layers when they land, and to have this be a 3rd ingredient for craftable gunpowder.
    Then we just need a renewable source of sand or a change to the TNT recipie to use something else that is renewable and we wouldnt need TNT duplication glitches for technical stuff anymore

    I think the reason they’re avoiding this is because Minecraft doesn’t want to “teach” kids how to make gunpowder, they won’t use even a similar crafting recipe if it means it puts the idea of making gunpowder into kids heads.
