Candle-Waxing Armor

It's a shame that leather armor is the only type that can be dyed a new color!

By using dyed candles on a cauldron, you ought to be able to coat your metallic/diamond armor in a layer of colored wax! Perhaps after taking durability on the said armor, this fancy wax coat is worn down into it's original bare armor.
