Adding freezers can be the in game opposite to furnaces. This could introduce the iron freezer and the shulker freezer. Two versions for two different freezing speeds and storage sizes. Iron freezers are crafted by iron blocks with a empty space in the middle. The shulker freezer requires surrounding a iron freezer in popped chorus fruit or two shulker shells. The iceologer with it dropping its freezing core cold be used as infinite cooling source for freezers. Temporary cooling sources such as ice, snow, buckets of snow, and snowballs can be used effectively to freeze or cool liquids in dark cool places away from heat sources.
Iron Freezers uses 1 cold source input slot for freezing, 2 inputs slots for items that can be frozen, and 3 outputs slots.
Shulker freezers have 2 cold source inputs for freezing, 3 input slot for items that can be frozen, and 4 output slots. Items that can be frozen include water buckets for an output of ice and a empty bucket, ice for packed ice, bottled water for an output of ice and a empty bucket, ice for packed ice, bottled water for an output of a snowball and glass bottle, lava for a magma block, magma block for netherrack, etc.
Natural cold or frozen biomes might not require a input cold source to freeze the items inside. Wind charges could be frozen into a cold/freezing core inside the freezer but cannot be placed as a cold source input.
New foods like ice cream and snow cones could be made.
New berries and fruits such as bananas strawberries and blueberries can be planted and found.
