To most players the idea of getting new armor may seem exiting at first but enter the deep dark and its long awaited dimension at your own risk cause not only mobs present a danger but so does the environment. As a player you might want to atleast equip unbreaking or mending to your armor before your arrival to the mysterious deep dark. Sculk being one of the new things to worry about, draining your armor's durability one by one from your boots to your helmet, applying sculk armor and curse of binding once previous armor is broken or once the player has none at all. It first starts at bottom half of armor and once the sculk spreads to the chest plate the player should receive mining fatigue and the curse of vanishing should be applied to any hand held item or tool.
Once the head is covered the player starts to lose xp and has to consistently replenish it in order to stay alive, kills spread sculk blocks and if you cant feed the sculk xp anymore it feeds off your life until it's nothing left but a sculky skull of your remains. Maybe the only two ways of fighting this is to be in the blast of an end crystal explosion or try taking a swim in lava to completely rid infecting sculk off of armor and entities.
End crystal explosion could slightly increase armor durability if stood in.

Chainmail and Nerthrite armor could be resistant to armor spreading sculk preventing sculk binding from happening but sufficiently increases maximum protection in deep dark with added protection enchantments. Chainmail mesh can be a new item crafted from combining chains and iron nuggets together. Mesh and chainmail recipes only unlocks when any singular piece of chainmail armor is found. Chainmail armor can also probably be upgraded via smithing table with sculk upgrade templates (only available in the new dimension and/or rarely found in the end) and echo shards making threaded sculk armor. Threaded sculk armor not only can bypass the same effects but eliminates the binding that regular sculk armor would give, doesn't spread sculk and leaves player hunger intact, also allowing for quicker movement in or on slime related blocks.Its weakness is lava reverting any armor pieces back to chainmail when touched clearing any enchantment it's possessed. The more the player sinks in the more pieces are affected all the way up unto the helmet when head is covered.
Sculked bedrock armor only spreads sculk when when entity wearing it is killed, and weapons and tools only spread sculk when killing other entities. Radius of sculk spread increases and decreases with sculked equipt armor, and can increase or decrease with hightest to lowest damage teir weapon/tools(sculk bedrock sword spreads the most sculk).
If the end crystal was allowed to cure sculk binding, it would be cool if when done near sculk the explosion would cause a bit of the surrounding sculk to turn into gravel forming a small circle around the obsidian.Registered User commentedComment actions Permalink- Edited

Aye why stop there, im just envisioning a new dimension already and i dont want to spoil or jinx it but NOBODY READS THESE anyway. Make the sculk armor useful, maybe not so much in the overworld but in a new one where most wouldn't dare to go. Maybe the warden wasn't enough to ward you off or failed at keeping you from a terrible mistake. You are now bound to sculk and only the brave can have a heart beat as brave as the wardens. A new seal has opened a gate to a new dimension a new world completely different from what is known. Players start in a series of tunnel dwellings covered in sculk inhabited by various hostile creatures and ancient ruins. But the twist here is you start the world from the bottom dwellings and it only gets more dangerous as you trying exploring your way up to an unpromised surface with deadly radiation, fewer mobs and seeping pools of acids only suitable for those built to withstand its harsh effects(sculk armor could be resistant to acid and radiation). Sculk armor can also temporarily get rid of hunger bar since it feeds on xp essentially turning the player as barbaric as the warden in this dimension.
Adding a new rare items like a totem of decay and sculk totem could slow and even stop xp drainage to allow the player to adapt to the new environment. Could be useful for mega xp farms when slaying ancient foes. Souls, echo shards and bed can be used to craft shreikers spawn points. Wardens heart can also be used to instantly remove armor and activate sculk transformation

Maybe the deep dark holds a secret technology as well. Introducing to us the sculk remote(sends remote echo signals to nearby sculk sensors and can be paired to calibrated sensors remotely activating it allowing players to pulse(tap) or hold a redstone sig-nal. Regular sculk sensors, amethyst blocks, and wool can be used to channel signals and manipulate radius for redstone and potion effect time replenishment) amethyst compass points player towards nearest amethyst crystals and/ or calibrator), and clock block a block that can receive and display a numerical input with three switches for a stopwatch, timer, and calendar. Uses pluse mode(like the button when it releases a pulse signal when time goals are met) and standby mode(like the lever it allows for continuous signal once time goal is met)or clock mode(resets after goal is met). And maybe something that repels sculk like music cds and/or glowstone can be added. Not to limit the function of collectable cds, maybe have it add to the function of redstone different ones for different frequencies of repulsion. Or to be a little more ancient different frequencies could turn sculk into different types of typically unattainable natural blocks like sand, diorite, anisidite, deepslate, endstone, etc with rare occasions to spawn ores within sculk conversion. Stack a sculk sensor on a note block to boost its range. Use in combination with calibrated sculk sensor for unique creations and effects. I've previously suggested an idea to use variations of amethyst crystals to replinish potion & status effects of any nearby entities. The title for that idea is "Use amethyst to replenish potion effects" for those that want deeper insight and how it could be a smoother connection to this idea here. And I do want to say now mojang these ideas are Ours to share.
In connection to the idea "Use amethyst to replenish potion effects" i want to mention that the calibrated sculk sensor could go beyond the average radius of amethyst crystals probably up to its max output distance. But not only that if any amethyst crystals is within or overlaps in radius with calibrated sensors then it replaces blocks underneath to create a pathway of amethyst blocks to connect the two together.
NOTE that maybe amethyst, obsidian, crying obsidian, chorus block, endstone, and bedrock could be the only blocks unaffected by sculk in-vasion/spread. Leaving bedrock a semi affected counterpart "SCULKED BEDROCK" the rarest material for tools and armor with it's sculk only affecting new pieces of random sculk touching bedrock every 1,000 days forming another limited supply of sculked bedrock. With this players would receive a new end goal and easter egg to the game. Once you've collected a wither star players should be able to combine it with sculked bedrock to craft themselves a bedrock totem(which allows players holding in off-hand to mine bedrock only with sculked picaxe and build under or on top of bedrock layers.
Its boots are the only one suitable for rare void walker (only found in end dimension structures) and Rock Stomper enchants(gives heavy falling like a mace/anvil and mines block below when crouching) its helmet the only one of its kind worthy of headbuster enchantment(allows jumping to mine and damage overhead enemies and blocks), armor is arrow and lava proof(floats back to the top if dropped in lava)

Players in sculk dimension can lay in beds to reset spawnpoint and enter chat but is not allowed to pass time within dimension until surface has been breached so for them day progression pauses between a certain y and x val-ue. Sculk clock shows the player in set dimensions how many days has passed since they left overworld, current overworld time/day, time/days spent in current dimensions and days/time that has passed since player last death in that dimension, just interact to switch modes and crouch interact to show in minutes instead of days. Which in terms is a tool that could be used to display separate days played between dimensions and might even be used create a calendar for each making it easier to create in game events. Players in overworld can advance in days without you if in other dimensions now. Just like the sculk, nether and end dimensions pauses day counter unless player holding a sculk clock in inventory or drops it and picks it back up adding onto the downtime it took to retrieve it again, basically tracking more the more you go without dying. If players die while between dimensions before retrieving clock all data besides day counter up until the moment of death is reset. Dropping and holding the clock in inventory will stop or allow for gameday to be updated again and will add to your calculated gameplay time as long as player stays alive or doesn't switch dimensions. Nether portal can be crafted in sculk dimension. Any sculk that is left in the nether dries up into soul sand. If mobs other than skeletons are killed on soul sand it turns into soul soil. Use soul soil and netherrack in combination with warped and crimson roots/sprouts to craft cooresponding nylium.

Sculked mobs i would like to see in sculk dimension are, horses, ancient villagers, dinos or pre-historics, phantoms, evokers, wardens, dragons, sheep, cow(can be milked for suspicious stew), and a massive sculked worm that could appear on sculk dimensions surface at night time hours.) sky in sculk dimension is a dark tinted galaxy orange during the day and a dark green galaxy color during the night. Both are almost equally as equally dangerous as their counter-parts. Radiation hits you faster on the surface during the day with fewer mobs to spawn above ground. Also providing players golden tree that drops golden apples. Normal crops cant grow here and produce poisonous varients. Only golden carrots, chorus fruits and beetroots can manage to breach this harsh soil and withstand the environment. Planting can only take place on surface due to spread of sculk in the deep dark caverns. Two new liquid blocks that can be added to the dimension is acid which can be found majority on the surface with a slightly transparent light green color and poisonous effect when entered upon. Galactic Goo can be another addition which is thick and slowmoving like lava, but can harden if powered by red-stone(only full block streams and connections can harden, allowing for a vertical duplication system when harvesting harden goo, activate it again using redstone or sensors to turn it back into liquid form; can also be bucketed). Sensors automatically solidify and liquidate goo can also be dyed

Placing galaxy goo on water, ice and snow blocks will start solidifying them. Placing them on heat source blocks will liquidate them. Goo Balls can be crafted by harvesting solid goo and crafted again to make the goo bubble helmet for a higher radiation resistance time and longer water breathing in acid, but is most effective when wearing a Goo Bubble Helmet.
Goo can be used in armor trims for slight radiation protection and higher jumps in boots when jump timing is close to hitting the ground can replace water bucket clutching if done proper-ly). (A Goo's Grace enchant could boost effect when players are falling from greater heights) and a (Sticky Goo enchant should allow players with goo armor trims to scale walls). Slime trims give a slight jump boost on every 3 jumps. Honey trims can cut negative effects times in half.
Emerald trims can unlock a trading tier with vil-lagers, iron trim increases attack damage by 1. Gold trims can speed up and present better bartering with piglins. Amethyst trim can increase crystal effect radius by 1. Diamond trim can give drop more xp from blocks and mobs. Quartz trim can extinguish flames on your player quick-er. Lapis trim slightly reduces xp cost for anvil and enchantment table up to 10%. Netherite trim can increase attack damage by 2. Sculk trim can give night vision every 15 seconds. And if sculked bedrock makes it to the game its trim would allow players to pick up any skeleton arrows shot at them.Also ive made a suggestion for the new copper.
The title of that idea is "COPPER SHOULD BE LIGHTNING RESISTANT". It give a description of a few ideas that would smoothly bring new components to the game that goes along very well with the ideas here. Galaxy Goo Balls can also be used to craft goo blocks another slime block variant. Actively bouncing any entity up in the air that touches it(acts like a regular slime block when powered by temporarily losing its auto bounce or floatation features). In combination with glowstone blocks it can make entities float, desend, pull and push. Just place glowstone behind goo block to activate a physical force beam that pushes through glowstone into goo blocks slowly raising entities in air that walk over, up to maybe 10 blocks high maximum. Goo blocks can be stacked vertically between air, allowing players to pass through them like liquid advancing another 10 blocks in the desired beam direction unless disturbed by any kind of direct signal input whether it be redstone or echo signal flowing through blocks or another goo block pulling/pushing from another angle. If goo blocks are powered by a signal like echos,red-stone or copper shock it will revert back to its bouncy gel like state until signal is lost again or has passed through.
Goo blocks can be combined with phantom membrane to make goo clouds which scans and moves an area of 5x5 blocks above it in any direction using the captains wheel(found in end dimension and ship-wrecks); can use multiple to scan and move larger builds across maps. Goo balls, magma cream, slimeballs, and honey can be used to make 16 stack of glue or gloopaste which can allow players to stick vanilla blocks together.
Goo blocks can be combined with phantom membrane to make goo clouds which scans and moves an area of 5x5 blocks above it in any direction using the captains wheel(found in end dimension and ship-wrecks); can use multiple to scan and move larger builds across maps. Captains wheel can be activated by placing it, and interacting with a eye of ender to put the user in control, also making the control point of building. Simply interact with active captains wheel to start controlling direction. Moves in direction that player is moving and looking in, almost like riding a mob. Camera display could possibly zoom out and in with interaction of popped chorus near the wheel. Upon entering the interaction menu, the user could input set coordinates of blocks they wish to auto travel to, interchange between block and entity mode(allowing for interdimensional travel), ability choose zoom, or a set a custom attached camera point they wish to view from. Interacting with captains wheel with eye of ender teleports ships radius 10 blocks above select respawn anchors in any dimension and interaction with enderpearls teleports ship 100 blocks over the worlds initial spawn point(Overworld and End dimensions ONLY). The captain's wheel can probably be crafted with end rods, iron and purpur blocks. Goo ball can be added to sticky piston to make a strong goopiston which pushes up to twenty blocks. Goo block sticks to both slime and honey blocks. Allow for honey to be pulled with piston supporting 3 additional goo blocks added within the max it can pull, slime-blocks could be the opposite allowing 3 additional goo blocks to be pushed in combina-tion(no specific order) with the 12maxed slime blocks to a total of 15 blocks that can be pushed without goopistions.
Remember the previous mention of captains wheel...if that doesn't seem to suffice as an automatic method of moving that could temporarily turn your build into a block and/or block textured entity. Then try the manual copper method that manually moves blocks within the goo glue or goo clouded blocks readable radius. Going back to the "copper armor should be lighting resistant" idea, players could make a new functioning manual control system for blocks in the movable radius(doesn't clone blocks into entity but teleports blocks player).
This can be done majorly out of copper blocks, pressure plates, and a little electricity. A flat 3x3 area with at least 4 copper grates in each cor-ner, plus any variation of copper bulb in the remaining four outside spaces to control the speed by rust level converting to blocks traveled per tick. A goo block must be placed in the middle and powered by an electric source which will convert it into glowing goo block. Copper pressure plates must be stacked on copper bulbs for 4 way movement. Crouching on glowing goo while in goo cloud radius makes it drop a y lev-el, and if a glowing goo block and a underside pressure plate is on top of the players head jumping will raise it's y level by 1 black. Sound waves/echoes and interacting with glow ink sac on glowing goo blocks can de-power it.Copper pressure plates gives any valid connected copper blocks a voltage of 1 and 2 if activating entity is affected by shocking continuing at that rate as long as player stands on it with ef-fect. A voltage of 3 can be presented if players and entities that are charged walks onto copper plates will drain their charge, individually though with the already mentioned "Battery Output" enchant. Pressure plates are now able to be placed underblocks. Goo balls and red-stone can be combined together to to make sticky redstone which can be placed up vertical walls and on the underside of blocks. Goo block can be electrified making it a glowing variation of the goo block(also means that its powered).
Glowing goo block gives a infinite voltage of 1.

In sculk dimension water turns into acid and lava into goo. Sculked bedrock armor and tools can be made with sculked bedrock itself or upgrading netherite armor and tools again with sculk template and sculked bedrock. Sculked bedrock can't be enchanted with mending or silk touch because it comes with it. If any sculked armor is worn in the nether it could
cause withering (overtime for sculked bedrock-about 2min by default). A new "Wither Clock" enchantment only for armor that could protect players from withering for up to 1-4min, 60secs for each piece having wither clock enchant-ment(resets each time players remove ALL wither clock armor and/or enters and leave the nether). When all 4 is equipped on sculked bedrock armor it grants infinite withering pro-tection. Could also allow for sculked picaxe being the only item that can break and collect mob spawners, trail spawner, trail vaults, reinforced deepslate, and if holding a rare totem bedrock can be broken aswell.Also opening up the option to either just allow players to move and place spawners like the ancients once did and/or give players the ability to craft spawn eggs to put in them like shown in trail cham-bers. Using an ancient crafting table (probably made with crafting table, brewing stang, anvil, furnace, lectern, beacon, 2 shulker shells and wardens heart) players could obtain ancient recipes which would include a variety of blocks and items in combination with a chicken egg and glowstone dust (could be in connection to the note blocks and its sculk conversions). Each mob being able to be crafted with the exemption of the ender dragon.

Nether reactor core should be readded and can also serve a purpose to turn zombified pilgins into piglings & zoglins back into Hoglins within its radius. Could have reversed effect in the nether zombifying them instead (they could tend to naturally avoid it until players attack forcing them into the radius). Potion of decay can turn hostile pig versions into zombies vari-ants(Doesn't apply to ones already zombified).
This could allow the piglin species to breach dimensions (All zombie pig variants should pathfind to nether core). Nether core also turns zombies and skeletons into horse variants, and spiders into creepers. Piglins, zombies, and skeletons can ride undead horses. Piglin and Zombies on zombie horses can turn other hors-es(including player tamed ones). Zombies excluding the drowned should be hostile to all ani-mals(but primarily focuses on players and vil-lagers). Reinforced Deepslate should be a 4 output crafting recipe of 1 iron block, 1 deepslate block, and 1 bedrock.Deepslate interaction with glowstone dust turns it into BRINESTONE(looks like middle of beacon). Brinestone overtime in water deactivates and turns into a sea-lantern.
Brinestone that is hit by beacon's ray will add on and turn it's effect area peaceful restricting the spawn of any hostile mob (hostile mobs outside the area can still spawn and enter). Brinestone or Glowstone can be placed in the middle of a flat 3x3 platform, surrounded by "T" shaped crying obsidian and 4 obsidian corners, with soul torches on top of the crying obsidian, a beacon on top of either glowstone block or brinestone, and lastly nether reactor core on top of beacon; will summon the long awaited ancient HERO⚪️⚪️
After the HERO..... is defeated, he should drop his eyes that can make all mobs ignore the player until hit, allow the player to posses mobs, and can also allow the player to fly like in creative mode. This can be the end goal for players to try and make parts their survival world peaceful if they don't actually want to play in the peaceful gamemode and also give players the chance to turn hardcore, and other gamemodes peaceful without cheats.

Lapiz, Quartz, and Resin can also have new uses that fit right in. Starting with lapis, other than enchanting it could be used heighten the water blocks surface level and purify it. Both variants can be used to do so, thus allowing for natural waves in ocean if lapis is on sea floor. Placing one lapis block underwater pushes or places the height of water source blocks above it by one vertically. Removing or breaking underwater lapis sets water level flat again. Stacking and connecting more lapis can result in higher and wider waves or spouts. Variants of quartz can be used to do the exact same thing when under lava enabling lava eruptions. Resin reacts to previously mentioned acid in the same fashion but dissolves/destroys it over time (bricked resin having the second shortest decay in time) besides the chiseled version and a new toxic ver-sion. Adding toxic resin to water just like lapis can make its state change, but into acid. Acid placed in water makes murky swamp like water thats able to be colored with dye and darkened by adding even more like a cauldron(lapis can rid water toxicity).
If toxicity is gone but water is still colored, adding more buckets of water to it can revert it back to its original texture. Acid can also be placed in lava to generate nether quartz ore
Withered skeleton horses should be adding aswell, only found in the nether giving all entities who enter its 2 block radius withering.
Should be hostile to players by default. Could be tamable with wither roses. Withering effect could be could be avoided with previously mentioned "wither clock".A more hostile sculked sniffer can be added to sculked biomes, using its sculked filled nose to detect any unfamiliar trust passers holding high xp. Experience point levels lower than 10 somehow seem to pose no threat to this creature, reacting passively to those that meet these re-quirements. If not and you are found over level 10 it could dig up a sculk shreiker and start its attack.
