🔥 New Enchantment Idea – Molten Flow (or Magma Glide)

Hi everyone! I wanted to share an enchantment idea that could add a new way to explore and build in Minecraft.

Molten Flow (or Magma Glide) would be a chestplate enchantment that lets players move through lava more smoothly—similar to swimming in water. Instead of slow and heavy movement, players could glide through lava lakes with better control and speed.

⚙️ How it Works

• Applies only to chestplates
  This would give chestplates their own enchantment, similar to how:

  • Boots have Frost Walker / Depth Strider

  • Helmets have Aqua Affinity / Respiration

  • Leggings have Swift Sneak

• Improves lava movement

  • Increases movement speed in lava

  • Allows smoother swimming controls

  • Still slower than water (for balance)

• Damage & balance

  • Players still take fire/lava damage

  • Works best with Fire Resistance

• Works in all dimensions
  Can be used in the Nether, Overworld, or End for lava-based builds.

• Rarity

  • Found in Bastion Remnants or Nether Fortresses

💡 Why it would be cool

• Makes Nether exploration more engaging

• Opens new building ideas (lava canals, transport, etc.)

• Adds risk-reward gameplay

• Could introduce new PvP strategies

I think Molten Flow could be a fun late-game enchantment that rewards players exploring dangerous structures while expanding how lava is used.
