I want Java and Bedrock to feel a lot closer together, especially when it comes to commands, building tools, and Redstone, because right now switching between the two can feel like you’re learning a whole new game every time. I want commands to work the same on both editions so creators don’t have to constantly redo their work, and I want Bedrock to get things like Java’s "/summon minecraft:mannequin ~ ~ ~" command and the debug stick because they make building, decorating, and mapmaking way easier and more fun. I also want Bedrock’s Redstone to behave more like Java’s, since features like ender pearl stasis chambers, pearl launchers, and flying machines are a huge part of what makes technical Minecraft so fun. Currently ender pearl stasis chambers are difficult to set up, because of the necessary honey blocks pearl launchers are pretty much impossible, and the joy of having simple flying machines or doors that open and close via flying machines does not really exist at the moment (vertical flying machines are pretty much impossible and horizontal flying machines can only go in one direction before you need to dismantle them and build them facing the other way). The way to make all this happen should be pretty straightforward: line up the command behavior, bring over the missing creative tools, and update Bedrock’s Redstone rules so players can build the same kinds of farms, machines, and contraptions no matter which edition they’re on.
