Minecraft currently has many melee weapons, but none of them are based on attack speed.
This is where the sickle comes in to fill the gap. The sickle has lower damage than a sword but higher attack speed. Here are the general stats for each variant of the sickle:
Wood & Gold: 2.0 damage, attack speed: 1.8 (Wood) and 1.9 (Gold).
Stone & Copper: 3.0 damage, attack speed: 1.8
Iron: 4.0 damage, attack speed: 1.8
Diamond: 5.0 damage, attack speed: 1.8
Netherite: 6.0 damage, attack speed: 1.8
Furthermore, the sickle also has a hook attack that pulls targets within a 3-block range toward the player. However, the hook attack has a 0.8-second cooldown. The sickle deals more damage at close range.
For enchantments, I'm introducing the new enchantment "Momentum" with 5 levels and is incompatible with Sharpness, Smite, and BoA.
Momentum: An enchantment that adds stacks for every enemy hit (maximum 5 stacks), Stacks increase the Sickle's damage:
Level I: +0.4 Damage/Stack (maximum 2.0)
Level II: +0.5 Damage/Stack (maximum 2.5)
Level III: +0.6 Damage/Stack (maximum 3.0)
Level IV: +0.7 Damage/Stack (maximum 3.5)
Level V: +0.8 Damage/Stack (maximum 4.0)
Stacks expire if you don't hit an enemy within 3 seconds.
Crafting Recipe for Sickle:

E E M
E S E
E: EMPTY.
M: MATERIAL (WOOD, STONE, IRON, AND OTHERS).
S: STICK.
The sickle can also be dual-wielded, but to dual-wield, the sickle on the off-hand must be exactly the same as the sickle on the main hand.
