Lunge enchantment

I like the enchantment, especially when paired with high ground and dropping onto your enemies, but it is annoying at times. I think it would be overall better for a spear with knockback and lunge to be able to hold enemies back without jumping directly at them. If it would be possible, may I suggest that when you crouch and left click with a lunge spear, you don't get thrown forward, as if you don't have lunge? So that you only lunge when you aren't crouching and have sufficient hunger?
